What way ahve you guys found to be the best when trying to get to downtown from the west side?

1) time of day is a crucial variable here

3) its clear BM has more/less given up on the blog. effort is near zero.
My best advice is never to go downtown. I have two friends who live in the Los Feliz/Hollywood area, and I have to say the drive to there is awful and gross. Also, the Los Feliz area is crappy too. If you need to get out of the Westside I would say head South, way down South...Alabamy way

@BM: take the 10 both ways...turn on the tunes, roll down the window, open up a beer, and enjoy ur commute. it has been shown that trying to take sidestreets does not save an amount of time sig. > 0, is more stressful, and is worse for ur gas milage.
