Well friends, first of all I would like to thank Dinky for really giving us something great this morning. I think it was a great addition to the blog, and we will see soon who the next guest is!
Now that thats out of the way, I want to discuss a new attitude I have on spending money: I'm trying to do more of it. Sure I bought the fly ass watch yadda yadda. That was yesterday. The next grown up thing I am doing (to show both my grown-manness and ballingess) is buy a slick briefcase. No modern business man is complete without one. Do I have anything to put in it? Most definitely not. But that means nothing. What means something is when I walk in the office, or into an interview, or after work for a power dinner - I will have it in hand and everyone will know I mean business. So down to business. I have narrowed it down to three selections and would like some feedback on where to go from here. The image I am going for is called "Doing it with power all day." So let that (somewhat) guide your reasoning.
Here they are:

ReplyDeleteelegant - subtle - yet powerful. exudes a quiet and confident aura of class, sophistication, and business know-how. the kind of accessory that helps push a client who's on the fence into that deal-closing handshake.
"its been a pleasure doing business with you, mr. herron." {eyes darting back and forth between the watch, briefcase, and armani power suit}
"the pleasure has been all mine."

ReplyDeletedevil wears prada.
@ Flastad: Slightly erotic, but still enjoyable description of the situation at hand.
ReplyDelete@ Matija: Can never go wrong with Prada. A very classy option, I appreciate the help from your european perspective. You guys tend to know things like this better than most other heteros.
I have to throw my collective online blogging weight behind #3.
ReplyDelete@Falstad I agree totally. I think it reaks of class and sophistication.
Additionally, I think it would be even better if you could get some Gator boots and a pimped out Gucci suit.
no more One Euro Rob.
ReplyDeletewho's glo?
ReplyDeleteOne more satisfied reader is what it looks like to me!
ReplyDelete@ glo: Welcome back.
ReplyDelete@ the rest: please be gentle. Don't scare away other readers.
if you were a real man, you would buy all three so that you could use it as an accessory and match it with your suit and mood. enough with this having to pick nonsense. grow a pair.
ReplyDelete@ Jeff: Call a spade a spade! Much appreciated!
ReplyDelete(Please post more so as not to make this a depressing conversation between 2-3 people)
