And So It Is

And then it was over. I have been away awhile, to be sure. But in the meanwhile my life has taken a discrete change of course. My job at my current firm was not something that made me intrinsically happy - but those who know me, know where this analysis will go and I don't wish to address that in this forum. What I do want to address is just how unique my time here has been. A disproportionate amount of time was spent hanging out with my friends on the 'net. Included in this time was general web surfing, reading, and browsing. My time on the net has allowed me to sustain - and in some cases grow and build real life relationships. If you wanted to reach me at any time during the day, it was clear the easiest way to do so was on the net.

Off the net, I met many characters. My Vietnamese bff, my Korean-Argentine boss, the office snitch, some unique older women, the half jewish child savant, the football jewish player who left and came back a zionist, and my gambling friend. These people were ones that I spent the better part of my life with, and really exposed me to the idea of being around people who you had no choice but to be around. Will these people be lifelong friends? Who knows. Have they had an impact on me and how my life will play out? Undoubtedly yes.

Where does this path continue? It takes place elsewhere. That is all I can say at this point. It is different from where I am. I believe it will be better. What I know is that I may have to endure some sort of complex thought and stressful situations. My life is currently void of these types of encounters. It is curious that I would not only leave my current situation to seek out this other more demanding type of life. But that I do. For the love of money. For the love of challenge. For the love of change.

If anything, I will be able to look back on my life and see that I made a conscious decision to change the path that inertia might dominate. An active (and quite laborious) journey this was to find something else to spend most of the time in my day doing. The path of least resistance is surely not what I have encountered. If this is the lone achievement when I look back - then so it is.

Followers, I'd like to end this entry (this blog?) with some points to focus on though:

1) IAMBA
2) M.O.E. (Money Over Everything)
3) He Lied
4) McDonalds is good to eat.
5) Traffic sucks
6) Weather is crazy
7) H8rz Gon H8

Till next time...
