I have worked at my current job for more than two years and I cannot think of an event that has changed my daily life as much as what I am about to describe. The garage in which I park is a labyrinth inside of a labyrinth. Often if I am forced to park in a different section than I usually do, or try to leave out of an exit that I don't traditionally leave - I will spend the better part of fifteen minutes trying to escape. Even when I park in my regular area that I have parked every Monday through Friday at approximately 9 AM PST for the last two years in order to go to the same desk and do the same things that I have been doing, I encounter some difficulty when I make that same drive home. The problem is that there are two right hand turn lanes out of my garage, but I need to be in the furthest to the left in order to be in a position to get onto the freeway that I have taken every day to drive home to the place I have lived for the last two years. But, when I must make a straight right angle turn in order to get into the correct lane. This has actually caused me to scrape the side of my car in order to get into my favorite turn lane. In any case, even when I dont literally damage my car trying to get into this lane every evening of the last two years, I encounter some difficulty. That is until I leave work Monday evening. The turn is much easier. What? Why is this? They shortened the divider for the lanes - allowing me some more leeway to swing out a little wider on my turn so as to not scrape my car, yet get in my desired turn lane! How about that! Thanks!
